About the Role
Our client operates a hybrid technology environment across multiple countries, requiring secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure. The Microsoft Azure Cloud Specialist role focuses on the Azure cloud layer, ensuring governance, security, and operational excellence across all systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage Azure cloud architecture across systems and environments
- Implement and maintain cloud security, compliance, and governance frameworks
- Manage Azure Active Directory, access control, and identity management
- Define and implement disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity (BCP) strategies
- Monitor cloud environments and implement performance and cost optimisations
- Support hybrid infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments
- Work closely with IT, Cybersecurity, and system owners
- Ensure audit readiness and remediation of security findings
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in cloud infrastructure (Azure-focused)
- Strong experience with Azure architecture, security, and governance
- Experience managing hybrid cloud environments
- Solid understanding of networking, identity, and access management
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and cloud optimisation
