About the Role
A Large 5 Star Hotel in Cape Town is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join their team, reporting directly to the property Director of Sales and Marketing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue through effective sales strategies and tactics.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
- Conduct market research and stay up-to-date on industry trends
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery
- Manage and maintain a pipeline of leads and opportunities
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years sales experience in the travel / tourism / hotel industry
- Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent
- Certificate or Diploma in Sales & Marketing or Hotel Management
- Valid Driver’s Licence and vehicle for day to day travel/appointments
