Lead. Trade. Grow the Business. We are looking for a high-performing Retail Store Manager who treats a store like a business, not just a workplace. This role is for a commercially driven leader with a strong trader mentality, someone who understands how to drive revenue, maximise margin, and create exceptional customer experiences. The successful candidate will take full accountability for store performance, ensuring sales targets are exceeded, operational standards are maintained, and customers receive outstanding service. What Success Looks Like in This Role The Store Manager will be responsible for delivering measurable results across the following key areas: Sales Growth & Commercial Performance You will actively trade the store to maximise revenue and profitability. Key Deliverables Consistently achieve or exceed monthly sales targets. Drive growth in conversion rate, average basket value, and units per transaction. Identify sales opportunities and execute in-store initiatives that increase revenue. Analyse daily and weekly sales data to optimise product performance. Take proactive action when performance falls below expectations. Customer Experience Excellence Our stores succeed because of exceptional customer service. Key Deliverables Ensure every customer receives a professional, friendly, and engaging shopping experience. Build strong relationships with customers that encourage repeat business and loyalty. Lead by example in delivering service that converts browsing into buying. Maintain a store environment that is welcoming, clean, and well-presented. Team Leadership & Performance Management Great stores are built by great teams. Key Deliverables Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing retail team. Set clear performance expectations and hold team members accountable. Provide coaching and ongoing training to improve sales skills. Create a motivated team culture focused on results and customer service. Merchandising & Store Presentation The store must always be commercially ready to trade. Key Deliverables Maintain high visual merchandising standards. Ensure product displays drive customer engagement and sales. Execute promotions and campaigns effectively. Ensure stock is visible, accessible, and properly presented. Operational Excellence The store must operate efficiently and professionally. Key Deliverables Manage stock control and inventory accuracy. Implement effective loss prevention practices. Ensure compliance with operational procedures and policies. Deliver accurate reporting and maintain administrative controls. Proven Experience Required To guarantee the successful delivery of results, applicants must demonstrate: Minimum 45 years retail management experience in a high-performance retail environment. Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets. Demonstrated ability to grow store revenue through commercial decision-making. Experience managing, coaching, and developing retail teams. Strong understanding of retail trading principles, merchandising, and stock management. Experience analysing sales data and implementing strategies to improve store performance. Applicants should be able to demonstrate specific achievements and measurable results from previous retail roles.
