About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join our luxury hospitality portfolio in Cape Town, responsible for overseeing the physical performance, operational readiness, and long-term asset integrity of a diversified portfolio across Cape Town and the Winelands.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate, schedule, and verify day-to-day and planned maintenance activities across the portfolio.
- Design, implement, and maintain formal maintenance systems, asset registers, and lifecycle plans to ensure preventative maintenance programmes and operational control frameworks are in place for all assets.
- Work closely with Operations, Revenue, Development, and Finance teams to ensure facilities decisions support brand standards, regulatory compliance, tenant obligations, revenue protection, and long-term asset value.
Requirements
- Senior facilities leadership experience within luxury hospitality, boutique hotels, or high-end residential or mixed-use property portfolios.
- Technical qualification with strong technical knowledge of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire, pools, access control, backup power, and water systems).
- Proven track record managing preventative maintenance across multi-site portfolios.
- Commercially astute, with demonstrated budget ownership and lifecycle cost management capability.
