About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Laundry Supervisor to join our team at a 4* hotel in Cape Town. As a results-orientated leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and high-quality processing of all hotel-related linen, staff uniforms, and guest laundry. You will work closely with the Laundry Manager to maintain standards and meet or exceed financial goals.
Key Responsibilities
- General supervision of the laundry department
- Assisting with laundry-related administration, work schedules, and staff rostering
- Enforcing Laundry Standard Operating Procedures
- Maintaining high standards of laundry cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation
Requirements
- Be a South African Citizen
- Grade 12 qualification
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within the laundry department in a busy, upmarket hotel
- Sound knowledge of using laundry equipment and technology
- Flexible with ability to work shifts
- Basic proficiency in MS 365
- Accuracy and planning skills for efficient task completion
- Ability to perform under pressure and take initiative
