About the Role
As a Merchandise Planner at homechoice, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and profitability across our range of homeware products. With 40 years of experience in helping customers create beautiful homes, we are looking for a talented individual to join our team and contribute to our success.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse sales and other metrics to create realistic sales and buy plans that delight our customers.
- Identify sales opportunities to create products and offers that meet customer needs and expectations.
- Collaborate with buyers to deliver products aligned with category strategies and meet price point, sales, and margin targets.
- Forecast and reproject sales, margin, and stock to maximise sales and profitability.
- Maintain beneficial relationships with suppliers, adhering to strict SLAs.
- Work closely with teams across the business to deliver on big ideas that align with our DNA and delight our customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Science/BCom/BSc
- 3-5 years of retail experience (e-commerce preferred but not required)
- Competency in MS Office packages, particularly Excel
