About the Role
Hospitaity Hire SA is seeking an experienced Night Auditor for a reputable hotel in Cape Town. This role is critical to ensuring accurate financial reporting, smooth overnight operations, and excellent guest service during night shifts. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and confident working independently while upholding hotel standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform end-of-day and night audit procedures accurately
- Balance daily revenue, room charges, and POS transactions
- Prepare daily financial and audit reports for management
- Ensure correct posting of charges, payments, and adjustments
- Manage overnight guest check-ins, check-outs, and enquiries
- Act as the senior hotel representative on duty during night shift
- Handle guest queries, complaints, and emergencies professionally
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a Night Auditor or Front Office role in a hotel
- Strong understanding of hotel night audit procedures
- Experience using hotel PMS systems (Opera experience advantageous)
- Solid numerical skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Excellent communication and guest service skills
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a Night Auditor or Front Office role in a hotel
- Completed Matric qualification
