About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Automation Engineer to join our team in Randburg, Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering principles and industrial control systems, with a focus on automation and control systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing MCC and control panels for plant operations
- Overseeing manufacturing of panels
- Generating accurate, detailed electrical drawings for manufacturing and installation
- Programming PLC systems
- Developing SCADA systems
- Conducting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT)
- Overseeing commissioning of plants
Requirements
- Minimum: Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in PLC programming, SCADA development, and plant commissioning
- Preferred: Proficiency in Allan Bradley and Siemens
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role
- Thorough understanding of electrical engineering principles related to industrial control systems
