About the Role
As a Regional Human Resources Manager at Unique Personnel Ltd in Cape Town, you will be responsible for strategic partnering with the business to align human resources activities with the overall business strategy. You will ensure that managers and staff operate at and develop to their full potential, while incorporating the vision, values, and culture of the Company.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring every aspect of human resources incorporates the vision, values, and culture of the Company
- Implementing HR programs and policies as needed by the Company, in line with Group
- Chairing of Disciplinary and Grievance Hearings
- Managing Internal induction process
- Ensuring all recruitment packs are 100% compliant with audit procedures
- Ensuring all IR processes are 100% compliant with audit procedures
- Ensuring all Health & Safety procedures are 100% compliant with audit procedures
- Monitoring and evaluating relevant legislation in conjunction with Company’s documentation requirements
- Providing strategic direction on all changes in labour legislation and policies
- Establishing and maintaining healthy and constructive relationships with representative unions
- Promoting sound management/staff relationships through the compilation of appropriate channels for communication
- Ensuring compliance with all training initiatives
- Establishing and maintaining Regional EE Committees
- Analyzing and planning according to EE Plans
- Ensuring representation of the company Group at all CCMA/NBC interventions
- Providing guidance to managers on labour related questions
- Both written and verbal liaison with branch managers and staff on issues pertaining to Human Resources
- Ensuring two performance reviews performed within the set deadlines for the relevant staff
- Ensuring all HR reports are completed comprehensively and accurately and are submitted timeously
- Utilising information and data to determine staff trends and tendencies, areas of priority, and drive HR decisions
- Consistently role modeling the Code of Conduct in behaviour, actions, and communications
- Holding all HR managers and HR staff accountable to uphold the Code consistently
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years experience in a management role
- BCom in Human Resources or Relevant HR Degree
- Working knowledge of SAGE people 300
- Ability to work methodically, accurately, and neatly
- Sound knowledge of South African Labour Law and HR legislation
- Able to meet deadlines
