About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join our team in Cape Town. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for growing existing customer accounts and identifying new leads to expand our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Call on existing customers and grow their account with us wherever possible
- Look for new leads, cold call, and open new accounts
- Be knowledgeable in our products and provide advice and guidance to customers
- Do your own quotes and process your own orders via the tools provided
- Attend open days and show customers when needed
- Perform demos when needed (if our demonstrators are not available)
- Work closely with internal sales to grow the branch and improve service
- Follow company policies and procedures at all times
- Daily traveling to and from customers
- Attend company stock takes approx. 2 a year (over weekends)
- Attend regular sales meetings
- Adhoc administrative duties
Requirements
- External Sales Experience
- Champion in Cold Calling and opening new accounts
- Power Tools experience is essential
- Must be able to use power tools for demonstrations
- Technically minded
- Own transport and valid drivers license
- Works great independently and as part of a team
- Target orientated, ambitious and driven
- Presentable and well spoken
- Computer literate
