About the Role
Multi Quantity Surveyors, a professional Quantity Surveying company based in Cape Town, is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. We are looking for a self-motivated and passionate individual with a minimum of 10 years post-graduate experience working in the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage cash flows and financial reports
- Provide monthly reconciliation reports and evaluations
- Prepare and review estimates
- Good experience in WinQS and DimX
- Good command of Microsoft Office Suite
- Preparation of elemental estimates
- Preparation of Bills of Quantities
- On-site measurements, assessment of quotations and/or claims
- Preparation of valuations for payment certificates
- Preparation of contract documents
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years post-graduate experience working in the construction industry
- Professional Quantity Surveying qualifications (e.g. PrQS BSc QS Degree)
- Strong financial management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Qualifications
- Registered with the SACQSP as a PrQS
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
