Job Description
Hire Resolve is currently seeking a skilled Fleet Manager to join their team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company’s fleet of vehicles, ensuring that they are operating efficiently and in compliance with all regulations.
As a Fleet Manager, you will play a critical role in optimizing the use of the company’s vehicles and ensuring that they are well-maintained to minimize downtime and increase productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the company’s fleet of vehicles
- Ensure that vehicles are properly maintained and serviced
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations
- Optimize the use of vehicles to maximize productivity and minimize costs
- Monitor and track vehicle performance and maintenance records
- Manage and negotiate contracts with vehicle suppliers and service providers
- Supervise and train fleet personnel
- Prepare and analyze fleet performance reports
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in fleet management
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in fleet management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and leadership abilities
- Proficiency in using fleet management software
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
