About the Role
A reputable professional quantity surveying consultancy with a strong track record in delivering high-quality projects across various sectors is seeking a highly experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their Cape Town team. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in cost management, contracts, and industry standards to drive project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the quantity surveying function within a professional QS consultancy environment
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost planning
- Manage procurement processes and contract administration
- Evaluate contractor claims and variations
- Prepare and present financial reports to clients
- Ensure projects are delivered within budget and comply with contractual requirements
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders
Requirements
- BSc in Quantity Surveying (BScQS)
- Must be professionally registered (e.g., PrQS)
