About the Role
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Senior Inbound Consultants to join a leading luxury travel company based in Cape Town. This full-time role is ideal for a seasoned travel professional with a strong background in the luxury inbound market and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, quote, and plan bespoke travel itineraries across Southern and East Africa
- Manage all aspects of client journeys from initial quotation to post-travel file closure
- Ensure seamless execution of in-country tours and be available on call for guests during travel
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate tour administration
- Book all necessary services and reconfirm details prior to travel
- Coordinate tour-related invoicing and payments with the accounts team
- Prepare and deliver precise and comprehensive travel documents
- Manage relationships with suppliers and resolve any issues that may arise during the guest’s travel
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a luxury inbound consulting role
Strong destination knowledge of Southern and/or East Africa
Proficiency in Tourplan is essential
Excellent command of written and verbal English
Professional communication skills and the ability to manage high-profile clients and agents
Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
Ability to manage a high volume of work while maintaining accuracy
Capable of working independently and within a collaborative team environment
Sound judgement and ability to manage crisis situations calmly and effectively
Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications (if applicable)
