About the Role
Join a dynamic, Level 1 BBBEE medical technology company delivering high-quality, compliant healthcare solutions nationwide. We are seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our team, providing hands-on technical support for our range of equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and repair systems to full working capacity
- Assess, repair, service, and compile technical reports on a wide range of equipment
- Deliver, install, and commission new equipment within the company’s product range
- Perform rebuilds and commission existing equipment
- Conduct annual maintenance services on demo equipment
- Complete quality field actions and submit all required documentation
- Maintain and follow warranty processes and procedures for all intended repairs
Requirements
- Minimum Education Grade 12 or equivalent
- Relevant tertiary qualification in electrical, mechanical, or related engineering fields (advantageous)
- Minimum Work Experience 5 years of technical experience with an electrical and/or mechanical engineering background
- 2 years of hands-on technical experience with Steam Sterilizers and Pressure Vessels
Qualifications
- Valid Code 08 drivers license; EB license advantageous
- Minimum 1 year of experience driving a company vehicle
- Advanced computer literacy in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
