About the Role
The Prestige Cosmetics Group, a subsidiary of CAVI Brands, is seeking an experienced Store Assistant Manager to join their team at the SAB V&A boutique. As a key member of the sales and customer service team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, leading a high-performing team, and delivering exceptional client experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide the team towards achieving results and developing individual talents
- Partner with Boutique Manager to proactively identify, address and manage employee relations issues in accordance with local policies and procedures
- Facilitate frequent team and individual communication to ensure collective knowledge among all members of the boutique staff
- Share the brand vision and boutique challenges, giving meaning and empowerment to the team while holding them accountable
- Review and analyse category sales
- Update respective reports monthly (Sales consultant Performance / New Launch feedback / Event feedback / analysis and sales)
- Provide feedback and reporting on business performance in terms of customers, competitor activities, product acceptance, and distribution and target sectors
- Develop business initiatives in line with the brand vision and strategy
- Take responsibility for staff schedules, including day-to-day operational zoning to ensure floor coverage and optimal client service
- Support the Boutique Manager in communicating retail and collateral stock needs to all necessary parties
- Ensure loss prevention activities, such as in-store security and inventory management
Requirements
- Matric certificate
- At least 3 years retail and cosmetics experience
- Certificate in Beauty/Make-Up is advantageous
