Reservations Manager Luxury Hotel | Cape Town

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and dynamic Reservations Manager to join a Luxury Hotel based in Cape Town. The successful candidate will lead the reservations team and optimise booking operations, ensuring seamless guest experiences and maximised revenue. This position offers a salary of R25,000 R30,000 per month, negotiable depending on experience (DOE).

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the reservations department, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all booking processes.

• Lead, train, and manage the reservations team, including scheduling and performance evaluations.

• Monitor room inventory, rates, and availability to optimise revenue and occupancy.

• Implement strategies to drive bookings across all channels, including direct, OTA, corporate, and group reservations.

• Maintain excellent guest relations, handling all enquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.

• Prepare regular reports on reservations, occupancy, and revenue metrics for management review.

• Collaborate with front office, sales, and marketing teams to ensure a cohesive and high-quality guest experience.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 35 years experience in hotel reservations management or a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of property management systems (PMS) and online booking platforms.

• Proven leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

• Analytical mindset with a strong focus on revenue optimisation.

• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment, including weekends and public holidays when required.
