Reservations Manager Luxury Hotel (Cape Town)
Salary: R44,000 (Negotiable DOE)

Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking a Reservations Manager for a prestigious luxury hotel based in Cape Town. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and experienced individual to join a world-class hospitality team in one of South Africas most iconic destinations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the reservations department

• Ensure prompt and professional handling of all booking enquiries

• Maintain and maximise room occupancy and revenue through effective inventory and yield management

• Liaise with guests, travel agents, tour operators, and other departments to ensure a seamless reservation experience

• Generate and analyse reservation reports and forecasts

• Ensure all bookings are correctly entered and updated in the reservations system

• Train, manage and support the reservations team to deliver exceptional service

• Monitor and improve departmental processes to ensure efficiency and guest satisfaction

• Work closely with the sales and front office teams to align on guest bookings and special requests

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a reservations management role within a luxury hospitality environment

• Strong understanding of reservation systems and hotel operations

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong leadership, team management and training abilities

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and reservations software (experience with Opera or similar systems advantageous)

• Professional demeanour with a guest-first approach
