About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales/Business Development Executive to join our team in Cape Town. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic planning, relationship-building, and deal-closing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to generate new business opportunities within the UK and international markets.
  • Identify and engage new brokers, intermediaries, and strategic partners across relevant industries.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure.
  • Collaborate with underwriting and account management teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Accquis’s product offerings and market positioning.
  • Deliver regular performance and pipeline reports to management.
  • Achieve and exceed revenue and activity targets as set by the business.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in B2B sales, business development, or client relationship management, preferably within financial services, insurance, or construction sectors.
  • Strong understanding of surety, bonding, or financial lines is advantageous.
  • Proven record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Highly motivated, results-oriented, and commercially astute.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a global team.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in B2B sales, business development, or client relationship management
