A reliable renewable energy EPC firm is looking for Solar Site Manager to join their team in Cape Town and Benoni.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operations and maintenance of solar energy sites
• Ensure efficient and safe functioning
• Manage a team of solar installations, technicians, and team leaders
• Coordinate installation activities
• Monitor system performance
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Maximise the productivity and longevity of solar installations

Requirements

• Experience in construction, engineering, or energy sectors is highly desirable
• Strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, monitoring systems, and associated equipment
• Familiarity with relevant safety and environmental regulations, industry standards, and best practices
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills to diagnose issues, optimise system performance, and troubleshoot problems
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders

Benefits

• Salary: R300K/yr – R420K/yr, negotiable
