About the Role
Hire Resolve, a reliable renewable energy EPC firm, is seeking an experienced Solar Site Manager to join their team in Cape Town and Benoni. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operations and maintenance of solar energy sites, ensuring efficient and safe functioning, and maximizing the productivity and longevity of solar installations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the operations and maintenance of solar energy sites
- Ensure efficient and safe functioning
- Manage a team of solar installations, technicians, and team leaders
- Coordinate installation activities
- Monitor system performance

Requirements
- Experience in construction, engineering, or energy sectors is highly desirable
- Strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, monitoring systems, and associated equipment
- Familiarity with relevant safety and environmental regulations, industry standards, and best practices
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills to diagnose issues, optimise system performance, and troubleshoot problems
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders
