Hire Resolves client in the Logistics Industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Supply Chain Manager to join their team in Cape Town, Western Cape.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics operations
• Manage and coordinate the movement of goods across international borders
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and international trade laws
• Negotiate contracts with international carriers and logistics service providers
• Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics
• Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline supply chain operations
• Manage and develop relationships with key international suppliers and customers
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an International Logistics Supply Chain Manager or similar role
• Strong knowledge of international logistics and supply chain management
• Experience in customs regulations and international trade compliance
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
• Proficiency in relevant software and systems
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Strong leadership and team management skills
