About the Role
Hire Resolve is excited to announce an opening for a Registered Safety Manager in Gqeberha. In this pivotal role, you will be tasked with championing workplace safety and compliance within our client’s operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage comprehensive safety programs and policies
- Conduct thorough safety audits and risk assessments
- Offer training and guidance to employees regarding health and safety practices
- Investigate safety incidents to identify root causes and propose preventative measures
- Maintain and update safety documentation and records
- Ensure compliance with all relevant local and national safety regulations
- Report on safety performance metrics and recommend improvements to management
Requirements
- Registered Safety Manager with applicable certifications
- At least 5 years of experience in safety management
- Extensive knowledge of safety laws, regulations, and best practices
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and safety software tools
- A commitment to fostering a safe and compliant workplace environment
