Job Summary

PURPOSE OF POSITION SUMMARY AND DESCRIPTION OF KEY TASKS

The role of the Teamhead IT is to lead and support the business` IT needs, ensuring seamless operations and facilitating the company`s growth through innovative and efficient solutions. The IT function should ensure business continuity by maintaining robust systems, implementing the latest tools and technologies, and minimizing downtime. The Teamhead IT will also ensure that systems are secure, data integrity is maintained, and the business is safeguarded against potential threats.

The Teamhead IT will play a critical role in aligning IT strategies with business objectives, enabling sustainable growth and operational excellence.

*All systems should be in compliance with our clients IT Global and Regional standards and procedures.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

KPI 1

 

Budgeting accuracy

Ensure actual CAPEX and OPEX are in line with the approved budget.

KPI 2

Strategic Alignment with Global IT

All projects must be approved by Global IT teams (Germany & Austria) and continuously aligned with their systems and operational standards, as well as the local IT Strategy.

KPI 3

Collaboration with Departments

Conduct quarterly meetings with all Directors/Senior Managers to address operational needs.

Complete projects within agreed timelines.

KPI 4

Systems Uptime

Maintain >95% system uptime during work hours.

Professionally communicate all business interruptions to staff in a timely manner.

Ensure Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans are In Place, Updated, and Tested.

KPI 5

Security concerns / issues reported

Communicate all security breaches within 4 hours of detection.

KPI 6

Leadership

Conduct monthly one-on-one meetings with team members.

Perform bi-annual performance reviews and assist team members with growth and development plans.

KEY TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

1.

1.        IT Infrastructure and Applications Management

       Oversee all IT infrastructure and applications to ensure service levels are consistently met, while driving enhancements to business efficiency.

       Maintain a proactive approach to monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing systems, ensuring seamless daily operations.

 

2.

1.        Vendor and Contract Management

       Manage vendors and contracts for local third-party systems and technical support services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with business goals.

       Regularly review and evaluate vendor performance to maintain high service standards.

 

3.

1.        Collaboration on Regional and Global Initiatives

       Collaborate with Regional and Global IT teams to align with global strategies, standards, and projects.

       Act as a liaison for local implementations of regional or global IT initiatives.

 

4.

System Support and Maintenance

  • Provide technical support for critical systems, including Active Directory (AD), MS Exchange/, MS SQL, network switches, and related application systems.
  • Ensure all systems are updated, secure, and compliant with company standards

5.

Technology Innovation and Investment Optimization

  • Regularly assess the companys technology landscape to identify opportunities to leverage, improve, or extend IT investments.
  • Implement innovative tools and practices to support organizational growth and efficiency.

6.

End-User Support and Enablement

  • Ensure all users have the necessary tools, hardware, and software to perform their functions efficiently.
  • Provide effective and timely support to minimize downtime and improve user satisfaction.

7.

Security and Compliance

  • Ensure the business meets all security requirements, including data protection and cybersecurity measures.
  • Monitor and respond promptly to security threats, breaches, or compliance risks.

8.

Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery

       Develop, maintain, and test Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans to ensure preparedness for any unforeseen disruptions.

9.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews, and assist team members in achieving professional development goals.

10.

Operational Excellence

  • Continuously evaluate IT processes and workflows to identify and implement improvements.
  • Ensure all IT projects and special initiatives are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

BACKGROUND AND PROFILE

Educational Qualification:  Bachelors Degree in Business or IT

 

Professional Experience:     Industry: Retail, Wholesale, E-Commerce

                                                  Functional: Team Management, Project Management

 

IT Skills:                                   5 Years Experience in IT Managerial Position, 4 Years Experience in IT Project Management.

 

Language Skills:                     Fluent written and spoken English
