About the Role

We are seeking three experienced Fitters and Turners to join our team in the Cape Winelands region. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines, as well as assembling, installing, and commissioning machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setting up and operating CNC machines with multiple axes
  • Conducting precision machining
  • Assembling, installing, and commissioning machinery and equipment
  • Problem-solving and effective communication with CNC programmers and management
  • Traveling nationally and internationally for work-related purposes
  • Working shifts as required

Requirements

  • Completed trade test as Fitter and Turner
  • 3-5 years experience in conventional turning and milling
  • Experience in the assembly, installation, and commissioning of machinery and equipment
  • Expertise in setting CNC machines with multiple axes
  • Ability to operate CNC machines and conduct precision machining
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication skills with CNC programmers and management
