About the Role
Join our team as a Sales Representative in the Cape Winelands region and drive sales success with our building materials. Build lasting relationships with clients, identify new opportunities, and develop strategic sales plans to achieve targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to consistently achieve targets
- Offer tailored product solutions and expert guidance to meet client needs
- Monitor market trends and competitors to maintain a competitive edge
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to potential and existing clients
- Report progress and insights regularly to the sales manager
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years proven sales experience within the building materials or construction industry
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Deep understanding of the local market and customer base
- Expertise in Trusses, Rib & Block Decking, Aluminium Fenestration, and other building materials
- Proficiency in IQ Retail software and Microsoft Office
Qualifications
- Valid drivers license, access to own vehicle
- Willingness to travel as required (no formal education or certifications mentioned)
Salary & Benefits
Competitive basic salary of R18,000, with commission opportunities on a sliding scale after reaching R500,000 in turnover. Additional 1% commission potential based on gross profit.
