Key Responsibilities
- Direct and refine analytical programmes that influence organisational direction and deliver measurable outcomes for clients.
- Introduce new modelling approaches that advance predictive and prescriptive intelligence across product lines.
- Strengthen the organisation’s machine learning capability while remaining alert to new technology developments.
- Guide a team of experts by fostering continuous improvement, technical excellence and knowledge sharing.
- Work closely with product, technology, sales and analytics groups to deliver the broader intelligence vision.
- Communicate analytical concepts in a clear and meaningful way to internal and external decision makers.
Job Experience and Skills Required
- Postgraduate qualification in a quantitative analytical field and practical experience creating machine learning solutions.
- Ten years in advanced analytics, including three years in artificial intelligence or machine learning, with some experience supporting or guiding technical teams.
- Strong ability to work with complex data, proficiency in Python, R and SQL, familiarity with modern modelling tools and web frameworks, understanding of container based and cloud environments, confidence with virtualised programming tools, solid documentation ability and working knowledge of agile practices.
- Clear sense of purpose, strategic thinking with natural leadership strength, a strong learning mindset, excellent communication skills, ability to work independently or within high performance teams, and an awareness of ethical considerations in artificial intelligence.
