Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

• Assist the Finance Manager with full financial management responsibilities across the business.
• Oversee month-end and year-end processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Prepare management accounts, financial statements, and variance analyses.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning cycles.

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax legislation, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Maintain strong internal controls and implement process improvements.
• Assist with external audits and liaise with auditors.

Operational Finance

• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cashbook functions.
• Manage cost allocations, inventory valuation, and fixed asset registers.
• Analyse financial performance and recommend improvement initiatives.
• Support procurement and supply chain teams with financial insights.

Business Partnering

• Collaborate closely with operational teams to provide financial guidance.
• Present results and insights to management and key stakeholders.
• Contribute to business decisions that improve profitability and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) – Essential
• 1–3 years post-article experience (preferably within manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or technical sectors).
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and tax.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Analytical thinker with exceptional attention to detail.
• High energy, solutions-driven, and eager to grow into a senior finance role.

• BCom Honours in Accounting/Finance OR Completed SAICA/SAIPA Articles 
• CA(SA) would be advantageous 
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, reporting, and controls.
• Analytical, organised, and eager to learn.
• Passionate about the property sector and financial excellence.
