About the Role
We are looking for a Piping Stress Engineer / Designer responsible for performing piping stress analysis and supporting the design of piping systems for industrial projects. The role involves evaluating piping layouts, ensuring compliance with relevant design codes, and performing detailed stress analyses using CAESAR II to ensure system safety, reliability, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform piping stress analysis using CAESAR II software.
- Analyze piping systems for thermal expansion, sustained loads, occasional loads, and operating conditions.
- Ensure piping systems comply with applicable ASME and EN design codes and standards.
- Review piping layouts and recommend appropriate support locations and configurations.
- Collaborate with piping designers, structural engineers, and project teams to optimize piping routing and support arrangements.
- Prepare stress analysis reports and provide technical recommendations.
- Identify potential design issues and propose practical engineering solutions.
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in piping design and piping stress analysis.
- Proficiency in CAESAR II piping stress analysis software.
- Working knowledge of ASME and EN piping design codes and standards.
- Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation, or industrial plant projects.
- Familiarity with piping design and 3D modelling tools.
