Centurion: Senior Accountant posted by Communicate Finance

As the Senior Accountant, your duties include the following:
Prepare, review and maintain accurate financial records, statements and reports
Oversee accounts payable and receivable
Perform bank reconciliations
Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes
Maintain the general ledger
Ensure correct account allocations and classifications
Support budgeting, forecasting, and overall financial planning activities
Evaluate and enhance financial processes, internal controls, and compliance frameworks
Analyse financial data to deliver clear insights and recommendations that support decision-making
Manage intercompany accounts and reconciliations across entities
Prepare comprehensive monthly management accounts and performance reports

Skills & Experience:
5 years of accounting experience working in the FMCG industry
Strong team management skills
Proficiency in Sage Evolution
Capability to compile management accounts  

Qualification:
Completed BCom or BCompt degree from any institution listed above
Completed Matric (Grade 12)
