Centurion: Specialist: Design Learning Solutions (FTC x2)

Fixed Term Contract ending March 2026 MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The role of the Specialist: Solutions Design Specialist is to strategically advise the business on the Bank’s Learning Strategy, ensuring that organisational talent is optimised through development. Furthermore, the Specialist will be responsible for designing and developing high quality and effective learning solutions, using a variety of media. ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum A graduate qualification in Human Resources with specialisation in Learning and Development or Training Experience with Bankseta and a good understanding of the Bankseta processes. Ideal A post-graduate qualification in Human Resources with specialisation in Learning & Development or Training Management ETDP (Education Training Development Practitioner) certification RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: 8 years experience in People & Culture Learning and Development Environment – Relevant experience in the Learning and Development consulting Hands-on expertise in Learning Management Systems (Udemy experience is critical) Competence Authority Policies and Procedures Business Environment Skills Development Curriculum Design Relevant understanding of the legislative framework for People & Culture and Skills Development Knowledge of SAP and HRIS, specifically in Learning and Development Experience in design and development of training curricula and training programmes Experience in design and development of a Learning Management System Experience with online course management tools, graphic and multimedia authoring software and website design software Consulting strategic advice experience Project Management experience Banking and/or financial sectors Planning, including career and organisational development Experience in workplace assessment: Registration as an assessor with HPCSA preferable Knowledge of the relevant legislative framework; i.e. EEA, SDA SDLA and other relevant legislation etc. ADDITIONAL TRAINING OR KNOWLEDGE Basic HTML and Flash programming knowledge Solid knowledge of course development software and at least one Learning Management System Visual design skills (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator) and ability to storyboard
