Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a professional and experienced Duty Manager to join a luxury lodge in Ceres, Western Cape. This live-in role offers the opportunity to oversee daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and smooth running of the lodge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all daily lodge operations, including front-of-house, housekeeping, and guest services

• Lead, train, and motivate staff to maintain high standards of service and professionalism

• Handle guest enquiries, requests, and feedback promptly and professionally

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards throughout the property

• Assist in managing bookings, reservations, and scheduling to optimise operational efficiency

• Monitor and manage inventory, supplies, and vendor relationships

• Support management in implementing operational policies, procedures, and quality standards

• Resolve operational challenges with a calm and proactive approach, maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within luxury hospitality

• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills

• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high service standards

• Commercial awareness with experience in cost control and operational management

• Professional, proactive, and guest-focused approach

• Willingness to live and work in a remote lodge environment
