About the Role
Our client, a dynamic and rapidly growing hire and service business based in Ceres, is seeking an energetic and driven Operational Manager to oversee daily operations, fleet management, staff supervision, service delivery, and compliance for portable toilet and sanitation services across the Western Cape.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations, fleet management, staff supervision, service delivery, and compliance for portable toilet and sanitation services.
- Ensure efficient, safe, and customer-focused operations while controlling costs and improving overall efficiency.
- Develop and maintain effective systems to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Oversees the building, development, and commissioning of new units.
Requirements
- Qualification in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, or a related Business field.
- Proven experience in operations or project management.
- Experience in systems management.
- Strong planning, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Strategic and visionary thinking ability.
- Advanced computer literacy (experience with HAS or similar operations/logistics software will be advantageous).
- Ability to work under pressure and manage after-hours crises.
- High ethical standards and integrity.
