Minimum Requirements
- BCom Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Previous accounting experience advantageous but not essential.
- Completed articles are not required.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Process daily accounting transactions accurately and timeously.
- Prepare and post journals to the general ledger.
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Manage and maintain accounts receivable records.
- Follow up on outstanding customer accounts and assist with collections.
- Reconcile customer accounts and ensure accurate allocation of payments.
- Assist with month-end and year-end accounting processes.
- Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
- Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation when required.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve account queries.
