Job Description
Liaise and work with property management team.
Respond to standby calls for maintenance.
Perform troubleshooting to resolve issues or identify problems where external expertise is required.
Perform administrative tasks as required.
Manage tasks to meet maintenance schedule and satisfy employer and guest needs.
Statutory compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
Grade 12 will be an advantage
Trade qualification highly advantageous
Minimum 2+ years’ experience in maintenance and the ability to troubleshoot problems are essential.
Excellent all-rounder in electrical, refrigeration, air conditioning and general maintenance and upkeep of building structures for 5*properties.
Multi skilled.
Computer literacy.
Good organizational skills.
Attention to detail.
Knowledge of maintenance procedures, preventative maintenance, record keeping,
Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of general operating equipment
Good health and physical condition.
Communication skills – with guests and fellow staff members
Standard of your work must be in line with the standard of the lodge.
Good organisational ability and lateral thinking ability.
Professional, courteous, hospitable to guests.
Honest, imitative have good integrity, proactive.
