About the Role

We are seeking an experienced K9 Coordinator to lead and manage our specialised K9 unit in Delmas, ensuring operational excellence and compliance with relevant regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing K9 handlers and working dogs, coordinating crime prevention, intelligence gathering, and investigation activities within the operational area.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage K9 operations and supervise staff
• Conduct risk assessments and coordinate investigations
• Maintain compliance with security and animal protection regulations
• Supervise and train K9 handlers and working dogs to operational standards
• Coordinate crime prevention efforts

Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12)
• PSIRA registration
• Valid business firearm competency
• Minimum 2 years supervisory/managerial experience
• Minimum 2 years crime investigation experience
• Valid drivers license
