About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Resort General Manager to lead our 4-star resort in Drakensberg, boasting a unique blend of natural beauty and luxury amenities. As a seasoned hospitality professional with extensive experience managing resorts with Body Corporate or sectional title structures, you will be responsible for overseeing resort operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving financial growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage resort operations, including daily tasks such as staff management, facilities maintenance, and asset management
- Oversee all aspects of the resort, including revenue generation, cost control, and customer satisfaction
- Develop and implement effective strategies to enhance guest experience and drive loyalty programs
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including Body Corporate members, owners, and local authorities to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Hotel Management/Business Administration/related field
- Minimum 58 years senior management experience in a 4-star (or higher) resort or hotel environment
- Proven experience managing a resort with a Body Corporate or sectional title structure essential
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
Qualifications
- Relevant qualification in Hotel Management/Business Administration/related field
