Durban: Baristas posted by Riseup Management

• Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages (espresso, cappuccino, latte, iced drinks, teas, etc.)
• Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately
• Recommend menu items and ensure beverage quality and consistency
• Operate coffee machines and related equipment safely
• Maintain a clean and organized barista station and seating area
• Restock ingredients and supplies as needed
• Handle payments (cash and card) accurately
• Adhere to hygiene, food safety, and health regulations
• Ensure smooth workflow and assist with general coffee shop duties when required.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar hospitality role is an advantage
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work well under pressure, especially during busy periods
• Passion for coffee and customer satisfaction
• Reliable, punctual, and presentable
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when necessary.
