Job Description
- Lead the Board with authority, independence, and impeccable judgment.
- Influence government and regulatory policy at the highest levels.
- Unlock opportunities for industry diversification and long-term sustainability.
- Mediate, unite, and accelerate progress in a complex, highly regulated environment.
We’re looking for someone with:
- A proven track record of Board Membership within large, complex organisations.
- Governmental influence and the ability to lobby successfully at Ministerial level.
- A strong academic/professional background (MBA, CA (SA), Advocate, or equivalent).
- Independence, courage, and the respect to stand firm under pressure.
- Of good standing.
Commitment: Quarterly Board meetings plus adhoc strategic engagements.
Remuneration: Competitive package including retainer, meeting fees, and reimbursements.
