Our client in the Steel Manufacturing business is seeking to employ a suitably qualified External Sales Representative.

Minimum Requirements:

• 1year or more recent sales experience, reselling of mild steel and tube is essential
• MerSETA, (boilermaker) graduate
• Valid drivers license
• Knowledge of the steel and tube retail industry
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Good emotional intelligence
• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Strong trading and negotiating skills.
• Strong ability to close a deal
• Must be willing to travel

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Service new and existing customers
• Reach and exceed sales targets
• Generate Quotations for customers
• Build and maintain relationships with customers
• Increase market share
• Offer technical advice to Customers
• Follow up on outstanding orders
• Work closely with the sales team.
• Produce a sales report as required
