Job Description
Manage and Oversee Payroll duties including accurate and timeous processing of payroll including normal and overtime pay for all employees
Manage and review all payroll-related functions submitted by the HR Administrators
Identify and correct all occupational info, leave balance and engagement and or termination errors before final processing of payroll
Prepare and submit the Annual Employment Equity report to the Department of Employment and Labour
Ensure the Company’s adherence to the Skills Development Act including constituting the Skills Development Committee (SDC)
Assist in preparation for internal and external audits relating to BBB-EE, Employment Equity Act and Skills Development Act
Requirements
Post-matric HR tertiary qualification.
A Bachelor’s degree will be an added advantage
Computer literacy including payroll systems and processes, preferably Buildsmart, Fusion and Microsoft Office
Proficiency in IsiZulu both written and spoken will be an added advantage
Experience
At least 10-years’ experience in HR with at least 5-years in a supervisory or managerial level
Good knowledge and applied understanding of the South African Labour Legislation and the Bargaining Council for the Civil Engineering Industry (BCCEI).
