Job Summary
The Key Account Director will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of strategic accounts, ensuring seamless service delivery and long-term client satisfaction. This role requires a strong personality fit—someone who is commercially astute, relationship-driven, and confident in leading cross-functional teams to deliver results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop strategies to expand business within existing accounts and acquire new key clients
- Drive revenue growth and profitability across the account portfolio
- Prepare and present tailored account development plans and proposals
- Build a strong understanding of client businesses to provide effective solutions
- Oversee project delivery across departments, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and expectations are met
- Manage client budgets and align resources for maximum efficiency
- Present strategic recommendations and solutions to senior stakeholders
- Act as the key point of contact for escalations and high-level decision-making
- Deliver clear and accurate reporting to internal leadership teams

Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- 8–10 years’ experience in senior account management or a client relationship role
- Proven background in a sales-driven manufacturing environment
- Strong business acumen and stakeholder management skills
- Understanding of operational processes and service delivery within manufacturing
Remuneration
Market-related salary based on experience
