About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Planner to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FMCG supply chain management, with a proven track record of reducing costs or improving efficiency in previous roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Create production schedules and prioritize production orders
- Coordinate production workflow for multiple products
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock
- Liaise with procurement, warehouse, and quality control teams
- Analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ FMCG working experience within a supply chain environment
- Demonstrate experience reducing cost or improving efficiency in previous jobs
- Knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) responsibilities
