About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Production Planner to join our team in Durban. As a key member of our supply chain management department, you will be responsible for coordinating production workflow, planning and prioritizing operations, and ensuring maximum performance and minimum delay.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate Production workflow for One or Multiple Products
- Plan and prioritize Operations to ensure maximum Performance and minimum delay
- Determine Manpower, Equipment & Raw materials needed to cover Production demand
- Assess Project & Resource requirements
- Develop and maintain a detailed Project Schedule
- Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
- Work with Managers to implement Standard Operating Procedures
- Ensure compliance with Regulations and Quality Standards
- Resolve Production issues and escalate when necessary
Requirements
* Qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics – An Advantage
* Min 3 Years’ FMCG within Supply Chain environment
* Demonstrate experience Reducing Cost or Improving efficiency in Previous Jobs
* Working experience within a Multinational – An Advantage
* Knowledge and Understanding of MRP Principles
