About the Role
Hire Resolves client in the Package Manufacturing industry is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Production Specialist to join their team in KwaZulu-Natal. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of downstream processes, maintaining equipment to a high standard, and driving continuous improvement to improve overall efficiency of the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring that all downstream processes are functioning correctly.
- Ensure that equipment is maintained to a high standard to delivery required output.
- Drive continuous improvement to improve overall efficiency of the department
- Ensuring top quality products are produced
- Practicing a high standard of housekeeping and safety
- Any other duties reasonably requested by supervisor or other
- Prepared to work overtime when required
Requirements
- N3 (mechanical or electrical) as a minimum but N4 or higher is essential
- Mechanical/Technical aptitude
- At least 3 years work experience in production and/or manufacturing(FMCG or similar)
- Experience in setup of labellers and cameras is essential
- Exposure to Injection or blow moulding is advantageous
- Setting and/or Mechanical experience in production is essential
Qualifications
- N3 (mechanical or electrical) as a minimum but N4 or higher is essential
Salary & Benefits
Salary: R220K/yr – R300K/yr, salary negotiable. Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity). Training & Development. Paid Time Off (PTO) (if applicable).
