Job Description
Hire Resolve is seeking a skilled Resident Engineer – Geotechnical to join a reputable construction company. As the Resident Engineer, you will oversee geotechnical engineering aspects of various construction projects while ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Manage geotechnical engineering aspects on construction sites, including site inspections and evaluations.
- Review and approve geotechnical reports, construction drawings, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project timelines and objectives are met.
- Ensure field data is collected and analyzed accurately for geotechnical stability and integrity.
- Provide guidance and support to junior engineering staff and evaluate their work.
- Implement and monitor safety protocols, ensuring adherence throughout construction phases.
- Prepare and present technical reports and documentation to project stakeholders.
Requirements
- BSc Eng / BEng / BTech Eng qualification in Civil / Geotechnical Engineering.
- Must be Pr.Eng / Pr.Tech Eng registered.
- Minimum 15 20yrs relevant geotechnical experience on major road projects.
