About the Role

We are seeking two experienced Maintenance Technicians to join our team at our bakery plant in Durban. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities
• Collaborate with Production team to minimize downtime and ensure equipment availability
• Identify and resolve equipment issues, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems
• Calibrate equipment to ensure accuracy and quality
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment and facilities
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment history

Requirements

• National Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation or Trade Tested Millwright/Fitter & Turner/Electrician/Refrigeration Tech.
• 2-4 years of post-qualification experience in maintenance/repairs/projects in a frozen dough/bread/flour confectionery production/packing factory

Qualifications

• CompLit not required.
