About the Role
We are seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join our team at Takora Pty Ltd in Durbanville. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing electrical systems for various projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement electrical systems for various projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project delivery
- Develop and maintain knowledge of local and international standards and codes
- Utilize Revit or BIM software for design and modeling
- Ensure compliance with OHS Act (SANS and IEC codes)
- Manage and maintain technical documentation using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Access
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree or Bachelor of Technology Degree or Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer or as a Professional Technologist Engineer
- 3 – 5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in Revit or BIM software
- Knowledge of the OHS Act (SANS and IEC codes)
- Knowledge of local and international standards and codes
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications in Electrical Engineering are required.
