About the Role
Profile Personnel is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team in East London. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the accounting firm’s financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers
- Reconcile accounts and prepare financial statements
- Assist with tax preparation and reporting
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Handle payroll processing and other related tasks
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper, within a tax or accounting firm essential
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and time-management abilities
