About the Role
IZI South Africa is seeking a reliable and experienced Crew member to join their East London branch. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the collection and delivery of client consignments, with a focus on verifying all required equipment and completing paperwork using electronic scanning devices. Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to all relevant procedures and ensure the correct security devices are used to guarantee the safe transport of consignments at all times.
- Complete scanning and documentation accurately for record-keeping and audit purposes.
- Maintain the safety and security of customer assets as their responsible custodian.
- Ensure all deposit slips issued by the bank are delivered promptly to customers.
- Accurately complete all documentation for handover, utilizing electronic devices to scan consignments.
- Deliver consignments according to the planned schedule, meeting service level agreements.
- Remain vigilant at all times and promptly report suspicious vehicles or activities to the Control Room.
- Identify optimal tactical positions to provide cover for oneself and others, ensuring clear lines of sight and safe exit from the vehicle upon the driver’s instruction.
Requirements
- Valid South African ID
- Valid PSIRA Certification – Grade C Cash In Transit (CIT) Certification
- Valid Firearm Competency Certificate for Business Purposes
- Valid South African Driver’s Licence is advantageous
- Minimum of one year’s experience in Cash in Transit operations
Qualifications
- Grade 12 or equivalent
