About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Group Finance Manager to join our team in East London. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the timeliness and quality of financial reporting, while also supporting the management team with analysis and insights. You will work closely with various departments across the company to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage cash flow review and management
- Perform journal entry reviews
- Reconcile balance sheets
- Release payments to the bank (local/foreign/payroll)
- Conduct monthly GL and account reviews
- Analyze and report on month-end meeting comments
- Review short-term forecasts
- Authorize purchase orders
- Maintain internal control, General Control Framework, and Risk Management
- Conduct payroll reviews
- Involve BBBEE compliance
- Review VAT reports
- Manage Capex projects
- Review costing/pricing changes
Requirements
- CA (SA) qualification
- Minimum 5 years of experience in charge of a finance department in a manufacturing company with a national/global footprint
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively in a team
- Proven track record of clean financial management and administration
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
