About the Role
A food ingredient manufacturer in East London is seeking a Junior Sales Representative to join their team. The role focuses on driving sales by presenting and promoting company products and services, building strong client relationships, expanding market share, and achieving set targets. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Marketing, Sales, or Business graduate eager to kick-start their career in sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and managing fortnightly call schedules and client visits
- Classifying, segmenting, and prioritizing clients to maximise growth opportunities
- Conducting market research and maintaining up-to-date product and industry knowledge
- Implementing and supporting promotional activities as per company guidelines
- Building and growing market share across all product categories
- Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships to ensure service effectiveness
- Compiling and submitting accurate weekly sales and ADAPT reports within set deadlines
- Proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and emerging markets
- Managing sales administration and reporting processes to company standards
- Ensuring client deliveries and services execution meet company expectations
Requirements
- A matric certificate is essential
- A degree in Marketing, Sales, or Business would be advantageous
- 02 years sales experience in the FMCG sector (desirable)
- Valid drivers license compulsory for the position
